This Wednesday November 30th is the “From a Basement in Seattle: The Poster Art of Brad Klausen” book launch. This book covers all the gorgeously detailed poster artwork Brad has done for band like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Kings of Leon and events such as Monsters of Folk. Zombies take over Seattle Center for Zombcon

The Zombie apocalypse is happening at the Seattle Center this weekend for Zombcon. The line up for it’s first year is impressive, with DAWN OF THE DEAD writer/director George Romero, Actor Bruce Cambell and Malcolm McDowell all to make appearances. Tilt-Shift Van Gogh

Tilt-Shift photography is a way to make people and location photos look like miniature models. The folks over at Artcyclopedia decided to apply that effect to 16 of Van Gogh’s paintings. Nothing in these paintings were changed, added or removed. By adjusting the focus using blurred vignettes we see Van Gogh’s work in a refreshingly new way. You can see all 16 pieces here.

Smash Putt Is Back!

Returning once again to Seattle is Smash Putt, the Miniature Golf Apocalypse. This time it takes over a detention facility in downtown Seattle built in the 1930 for 6 weeks of mayhem and excitement! There will be new chaotic mechanized obstacles plus returning favorites. Finally miniature golf done horribly right!

KEXP Concerts at the Mural

This year’s event features a costumed bike parade for kids and adults, live performances and music, a car-for-bike swap, beer garden and food vendors.
