I’m pretty excited to see where director Spike Jones took this treasured children’s book. The movie opens Oct 16th.

Ridley Scott’s director cut of the classic sci-fi film Alien will be showing at SIFF Cinema for 5 days only, starting Oct 2nd. This is your chance to see H.R.Giger’s acid-bleeding, razor-toothed, oscar winning alien on the big screen.

The Bicycle Film Festival is starting tonight and going through Saturday. The film “Made in Queens” about the bike stereo system scene looks interesting.

“Performance, it’s the name of the game!” . This clever video was shot in the neighborhoods of Portland.

The CG on the new Tron Legacy trailer is simply stunning. Plus I heard Daft Punk is composing the movie’s score. I may have to go see this one opening day.

If you’re into bicycling like me go see the movie Veer, which follows 5 people who’s lives are tied to Portland’s bike culture over the course of a year. Next thursday is your chance to catch it at the Columbia City Cinema for one night only.
