Here is the first sneak peek at my friend Erica’s new line of STS bespoke buckles! You can choose the letter and background, and she’ll make it for you. The letters are from the House Industries Eames Century Modern font. Erica  licensed the slab serif typeface from them to use for this exclusive buckle. Numerals and ornaments will be available too.

Mightypop is back from a much needed vacation and ready to hit the Seattle Square this saturday. Local DJ’s will be spinning the soundtrack while you shop for vintage housewares, local designed clothing and get some fantastic chow from mobile food vendors like Skillet. It’s going on in Occidental Park inbetween 11-5am, be there!

My friend Jenn is launching a new clothing company called Vertical Girl soon & I just received her promo catalog. The line is inspired and created from her passion for climbing as well as the need for clothes you can work out in as well as hang out in. The garments are made in the U.S.A. and many feature trim seams, allowing you to trim the length for the perfect fit. The website will be up in the near future.

Hello Twenty-Ten! This First Thursday Deli is showcasing “Dirty In The 30′s”, artwork of automotive cars built in the 1930s by local artist Walter A. Franco. They also have some pretty fresh John Osgood designed tees for sale too.

This is a good weekend to get that unique gift for your significant other at the Urban Craft Uprising, the largest indie craft fair in Seattle. The first 100 attendee’s get a free fresh swag bag filled with gifts from the vendors.

Wow this is so cool. The Nonsek website lets you remix your favorite artists and illustrators work to create your own random shirt design. Below is one I remixed using Invisible Creature artwork.

My wife’s Mom, Beverly Abbott, was an Art Director and Fashion Illustrator from 1953-1963. I am completely inspired by her work and wanted to share her amazing talent.
