Upper Playground, the art and apparel store from SF, is opening a new storefront in Seattle’s University District. The grand opening is Sept 19th and 20th for the retail store and the new FIFTY24SEA gallery. Parskid and Angel179 will be showing work in the gallery on Friday and Munk One and Mears One will be doing a live art installation on Saturday from 2-6pm. One of my favorite local hip-hop artists, Portland’s Ohmega Watts, will be performing on Friday evening sometime inbetween 5-10pm. Woot woot!
