I saw some great album cover art at the EMP’s “Spaced Out” exhibit on Saturday. It’s worth checking out if you’re into 50′s and 60′s space related design and typography.

Seattle-based designer Jared Nickerson has some new work up on his flickr photostream. The jeweled bits in her hair are a nice touch on the piece below.

Seattle hip hop crew Dyme Def just finished their new video for the song “I’m Gone“, shot using just a couple of Apple 3G S iPhone’s and it’s new video functionality. Very cool! You can see Dyme Def and Fresh Espresso play for free Friday Aug 7th at 6pm at the Mural Ampitheater at Seattle Center.

I really like the design work Todd Karam & Tiffany James of TKTJ Design have been doing for Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs. Their postcards are the ones I’m drawn to when I find them at our local library.
