Emblem Studios and Hillytown have collaborated on the Portland Pins project. Download the pin template, create your own pin designs and return them by Wednesday, June 3rd. Your designs will be turned into one-of-a-kind 1″ pins, and sold from a dispenser that will be making its way around Portland businesses this summer. Nice idea!

Here’s two videos I ran across recently. The first one is spliced together retro footage for “The Future Is Obsolete” by Seattle group Voyager One. The second video is of the group The Flaming Lips doing their amazing version of Madonna’s “Borderline“. Candy for your eyes!

It looks like the new Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse CD collaboration has been shelved by EMI. But that’s not stopping them from releasing “Dark Night of the Soul” as a 100+ page book of David Linch photographs inspired by the music. It will also include a blank CD-R with a label saying, ‘For Legal Reasons, enclosed CD-R contains no music. Use it as you will.’ You can listen to the whole CD here.
