The Portland based clothing company, La Merde, has just released it’s spring collection of lightweight coats. I like the plaid detailing on the inner lining and the stitched logo accents.

Portland artist, Emily Ginsburg, has a permanent piece up in the Seattle Municipal Tower in downtown Seattle. The silhouette artwork looks like an electronic schamatic. Instead of circuitry, the art contains objects we see everyday.

I’ve seen more and more photos this past year of mod Japanese vans popping up everywhere. They seem so futuristic and out there it’s hard to believe that they are real.

I liked this illustration by Seattle artist Andrew Saeger that accompanied the article “The Great Piano Drop of 1968″ in the February issue of Seattle City Arts magazine. Andrew is probably best known for his work for the Seattle P-I.

Tonight Team Shralp is taking over the Lotek store in Portland with their art show titled “Rip It Up“. Rip it up proper Team Shralp indeed.

Western Bridge is continuing to develop it’s current exhibition, “Untitled (A Brink of Infinity)”, by adding new artwork to the familiar pieces from their fall show. 

Thought this was a pretty cool wallet design and a great reuse of old cassette tapes.
