Saturday January 31st is the Finale of the Comixtravaganza II event at the Seattle Central Library. One hour comics with Davey Oil, hidden cartooning secrets with Linda Medley and a Comics Live! performance round out the days events.

OKOK changes it’s name

The renovated OKOK Gallery in Ballard is now Ambach & Rice, and is celebrating a new beginning with a gallery opening on Jan 24th. The solo exhibition titled “Dust” features Dutch artist Bas Louter.

UNKL

Started in Portland in 2004, UNKL is the collaboration between Derek Welch and Jason Bacon to turn their character drawings into something more than ink on paper. Their first run of 1,800 figures sold out in a month. I personally am a fan of the cloned Tinpo characters.
