I went to the Hatch Show Print opening at the EMP yesterday. It was pretty amazing to see the size of the wood blocks they used to make large format posters. My Flickr set is up, but there are many more posters than what I shot. The letterpress workshop at the EMP was a lot of fun too. They had 3 colors of ink and a variety of wood type and images to choose from. Below is my wood type creations. Go catch the show this month, it’s worth it.
