Graffiti Archaeology
August 26th, 2008 by Evan
The Graffiti Archaeology project is devoted to the study of graffiti-covered walls as they change over time. They use a “timelapse collage” that is made of photos taken at the same location by many photographers over several years. Check out the Olympia wall to see 34 different photo layers of that area since September 2006.

Radiohead at White River Amphitheater
August 22nd, 2008 by Evan
Even though I was up in the lawn of the Amphitheater hooded in Gortex to beat the rain, It didn’t matter because Radiohead was playing like it was their last show on earth. The light show was out of this world. They used a long rectangular screen projecting each band members face behind tall thin tubes of light. On their last song “Everything in it’s right place” they projected the word EVERYTHING across the tubes scrolling to the left. A spectacular 2+ hour show from one of rock’s most interesting bands.
