Shag A to Z

Head on down to Fantagraphics in Georgetown on Saturday, May 24 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM and catch new work from Shag’s new book, SHAG: A to Z, published by Fantagraphics Books. The book is comprised of 26 original paintings corresponding to the letters of the alphabet painted in Shag’s mid-century Americana style. Get there early for the book signing.

Shane Long and Rob Stanton of Uglybogus met during their sophomore year at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle where they realized their mutual love and fascination for pixel pushing, brush stroking, ink mixing, and squeegee pulling. Their poster portfolio features work for bands like Tegan & Sara, The Cops and The Dandy Warhols.
